Re: Happy Thanksgiving Day
Hello,
Thanks Oz !!
Happy Thanksgiving to You and your Family, and all the G members !!
It is the 400th Anniversary of Thanksgiving in America since the Pilgrims.
You would think there would be more celebration of that timetable.
I thank God for All His Blessings, all the time as well.
Also, at the first Thanksgiving to God, with the Indians, Myles Standish also had a Military Parade to help commemorate Thanksgiving.
They Pilgrims had made a Peace Treaty with the Massasoit Indians that lasted well over 50 years, and was one of the longest lasting such treaties.
A Pilgrim had heard that the Chief was ill, and went took herbs and what medicine he had, and helped him recover. This sealed the Peace treaty for the Chief and the Pilgrims.
Maybe a Military parade would these days be a nice touch for the holiday, as it also commemorates the 400th Anniversary of a known Military Parade in America.
America is a beautiful country with a great history, in spite of every nay sayer throughout our history.
They had them then, and we have them now.
Thanks to God, for America, and her Good People.
Best Regards,
Ray
