I might as well answer the unsaid:

'This is the ABERDEEN show now relocated to Hagerstown.'

Looking forward to it.

Officially the "East Coast Military Vehicle Rally" was actually ON Aberdeen the first few years I went. Then it was in Churchville, then back to Aberdeen (the town) at the stadium. This new location is close to I-70 and I-81 so I expect some of a different crowd then in the past, no longer being close to I-95. For many it's going to be 2 hours further away. For me it's now 40 minutes away! Yippee!

What about parking? especially if you have a 25 foot empty car trailer and you are not a vender? At Ripken you could leave your trailer in the park area and stay across the street at the motels.

Good question. There will be many more good questions I'm sure. I'm not at all familiar myself with the venue, access, parking, area hotels, eateries etc. Only that Hagerstown is at the confluence of two major Interstate routes.

I think this change in location makes sense. It's on I-81 and still not that far from Aberdeen. The Army base was the draw but that went away years ago. Time to move on.

Security of the airfield will likely be the biggest issue, as that becomes TSA, and they are really an uncontrolled asset there.
And there's not a lot of seafood in Hagerstown compared to Harve De Grace...
Should be interesting though.

They have an entrance address, the vendor field page is a blank, wonder where they wiil put it, not much room there. says at regional airport with 200 spaces, is that parking or for vendors? some grass fields there, yet entrance on on the other side of some buildings.

I know it's a stretch, I went to the Aviation museums site and looked over their monthly publication. It doesn't indicate the show on it, but when i came across the last page it showed a photo of the Fairchild Plant (beside the large hanger were going to be invited to) from air.. just the triangle parking area which looks like a vacant lot today. Place was massive. Not sure if were goig to be in on the ramp area (again TSA...? ? ?) There's months left for planning and given that many of us 'want' to get out, get rid of and buy things, it is a needed environment.

In the day
And MY guess as no one has published anything yet..AGAIN MY GUESS...I'm not associated with it, only anticipating it...
Hagerstown 2.jpg
Silly Wild A-- Guess
Funny how the then "Park" entrance for workers (I guess again) remains. I suppose it was never paved and survived ala natural.
Final note, NOTHING in my photos is related to truth, only a guess and speculation, if the back row of the parking lot and partial ramp is opened for vendors I would imagine plenty of space is available for both. Very likely the planes will be out for display on the ramp and judging vehicle area there as well (great photo ops for some perhaps) If the museum does active flights, it may reduce the amount of ramp space for safety and security purposes. Their field, their call and TSA stil has plenty of say, definitely no display weapons on this one I would imagine.
