Re: MTA NJ Military Vehicle Show/Swap Meet April 27-28 2019
Hi Nick
Thank you for your note.
As you know from attending we had extremely heavy rains on Friday and Sunday.
On Saturday we had heavy winds and overcast sky so regrettably the weather held us back slightly in attendance.
Overall the event was successful and we were able to contribute significant funds to our MTA efforts in support of the New Jersey National Guard and other Veterans services.
Other aspects of our successful show included military classroom instruction and presentation on military vehicle history provided by actual Vietnam era veterans that drove these vehicles .... providing reall life experience on the vehicles we collect and restore for the youth of today.
These presentations were held and the administration building for over 60+ boy scouts that were in attendance over the weekend.
The MTA considers success more than just attendance rate....we include the intangible gifts that we're able to give boy scouts and veterans through the hard work of the membership.
We hope to see you again next year.
Regards
Gary Schultz
