Lucky weekend

Post by Tom in Iowa » Mon Jun 23, 2003 3:47 pm

I didn't have time to go to a farm auction this weekend but one of my customers was.
I showed him the diffrence between civilian and military jerry cans and showed him where the dates were.
I said I'd go to $10 on any good ones that were dated between 41 ans 53.
Monday morning he came in smiling and waved me out to his pick up.
There were 4 WW2 dated cans in good shape plus a 1926 2 1/2 gal. oil can. He got then all for $9!!!
I gave him $15 and said I'd take all he can get at other sales.
