Japanese fuel cans

What, if anything, did the Japanese use for fuel cans, and does anybody know where I can find info/photos of them?
Japanese gas containers?

I looked through a few of my Toyota Landcruiser historical references, and found about a dozen illustrations of the Japanese wartime models, but none of them show gas cans mounted. The earliest picture I found with a mounted can was on a post-war model BJR - and that looked like an American-style can. You might try getting in touch with Marv Specter of Specter Off Road. He is an expert on early Japanese vehicles, and might even have a wartime Japanese gas can in his Landcruiser museum.
