Jerry can inquiry

Post by Heath MI » Fri Jan 21, 2022 8:59 am

Hello,
Can anyone give me advice on where to find WWII era Jerry cans? My Google searches don’t really yield anything but mainly eBay results. Are there any good websites or companies that have them readily available for sale?

I have one Jerry can that came with the GPW I purchased, but it doesn’t appear to be WWII era, and it’s fit seems a bit too tight for the holder. I’d like to find a few more for the collection if anyone has a good lead.

Thanks up front for the assistance.

    All,
Thank you for the replies. Unfortunately I don’t do FB, so I’ll have to hit up the swap meets and memorabilia shows in the future.

    Robin,
I’ll PM you next time I’m home. I work overseas so I’m not in the States that much. But thanks for the information.

Hit some flea markets. There are a lot there and occasionally you’ll get lucky and find a WWII can.

      Good luck
