Found this at a yard sale today and had to add it to my collection. Can anyone help with the markings?

It is interesting that the yellow stencil reads “Gas”
It looks like a wide mouth Water Can ?

Yes, It's a wide mouth can. I was surprised to see it marked "Gas". I am not sure what they would have used a water can.

Something to note: The center part of the 3rd MarDiv emblem as painted in this rendering (called a Caltrop) is inverted.
