How big is the opening and depth of the latch part of the unit.

Almost got it. It is approx 6 3/4 wide and 19" tall. It is not big enough for what I wanted just trying to scale the depth of opening 14 liter can and seems to be sized on a 20 liter can footprint.

I still have these and I will get some photos up soon of these if you look at the link you can see the cans that they are and I am asking $35 for them...
