Nice, I wish I could find a few more here for that price.
The guy I got mine from has one more but he wants to keep it for while yet.
I'm hoping to get it one day.

Hi Adam

There is one for sale at a French Auction:

https://www.interencheres.com/meubles-o ... 16433.html

The auction is this Saturday. As you are Canadian I am presuming you can navigate the French site * grins * if you need help let me know.

All the best

Julius

Hi Adam

I called the auction - he doesnt ship himself but there are companies that can organise such things - price of that service is unknown. My sister is from Toronto so I am happy to help out. I guess there is a few ways to do this – it is possible for you to register to that auction and buy the item yourself. We can then see about shipping to Canada– I am travelling today and tomorrow but I could call and check on Thursday, the auctioneer said he would talk to the company they normally work with – it would be an independent shipper, I have no clue what that would cost. In France legislation separates the two transactions very formally so the shipper will need paperwork authorising the pick up on your behalf.

Alternatively I can try and buy it for you – I am loathe to drive down because its 4 hrs (380km) from Brussels where I live. Obviously if I then didn’t get it that would be a waste of time, a written bid would be the alternative but you might get gouged (I am not so trusting of written bids in small auctions, you always tend to pay top $) Also I am pretty sure it would be expensive to ship even only to me. My experience with French auctions for smaller packages is that the cost was quite high.

Let me know what you envisage or would like.

Regards

Julius

PS: I sent you a quick hello to your hotmail. We can correspond over that if you prefer

Thanks, I bought this one from the same guy that I bought my first one from.
Originally he was going to keep this one for himself but his collection changed directions.
