Do a search on Amazon for Jerry can gaskets. Plenty of results.

Phil
Phil,
Thanks for the suggestion. I had trolled eBay with no success. I did a search for Blitz can gaskets on Amazon and found a seller selling gaskets specifically for these cans. They were a little pricey but the cans are useless with leaky gaskets.
Luke,
Glad you are finding the spout useful. This spout had no makers marks.

Leaky - yes especially when you carry them like I do!!!

Don since you are scrounging all the good stuff around the Bay Area, the least you can do is to bring these treasures to Camp Petaluma in April so we with less time on our hands will have a chance to double your investment.
Thanks for the reminder, I missed the one in Petaluma. I plan to spend an afternoon there but it seems that all I do is look at all the cool vehicles and buy more tools and toolboxes.

Check out the important info for day visitors to this meet that will be posted on the thread on the Events forum in a few days with more details on www.MVCCNews.net soon.
If I read it correctly, my wife and I will have to pay $10.00 each and possibly take a shuttle bus to spend a few hours at Camp Petaluma. I guess I was spoiled by going to Tower Park all those years for free. Maybe I'll pass.

Yes. Spoiled. Largest military swap meet West of the Mississippi for the price of a commercial show, not that there are many of those in this region.

Better to not do the offsite parking. Reserve a site in the Group Area. Same price but it comes with parking on site. Camping not required. This way its easier to take purchases to the car or bring something to sell. No vendor fee for "campers."

Don, just bring something out of your stash to sell to cover the entrance fee and lunch. $10 and a shuttle ride is not the end of the hobby.

Park at Cattlemans and take a cab? John is right. I am spoiled. My wife votes no. Hope to make it back to Tower Park next year.

I found a 1943 Monarch can with spout at an Alamo, CA estate sale yesterday. The interior wasn’t too rusty so it could probably be a user.

After not seeing a reasonably priced wartime can for months, I’ve now found two 1943 cans in two days. Here is the Bennett can I found yesterday.

Although I haven’t found any new cans recently, I took a few minutes yesterday to take a picture of some clamp on spouts that I’ve accumulated over time.
