Welcome aboard,Oldflea!
Aren't you by any chance looking for the rubber expanding part of the fuel nozzle, such as the one that I am discussing here with a famous expert in post war spares?

Image
If so, I am not aware of any spare being available.

EDITED: Ron F. does have replacements in stock. So anyone needing to refurbish a fuel nozzle has an opportunity of which I had not been aware before.

I
Let me make sure I'm understanding this right. Ron does have the expanding rubber part of the gas can nozzle and not just the rubber gaskets? If so I need to order two myself!

If anyone needs a seal for the thread-in flexible spout,(Donkey D*ck) you can use the seal off a modern oil filter,(PH-8a, etc) it fits perfectly.

Hope this helps!

I found the seal = how does one install?
if put in boiling water will it stretch over the washer to get in place?
or do you have to grind off the rivet and drill and tap to put the cam lever back on?

the seal was found at Plymouth this year.

I replaced mine by using a couple of flat blade screwdrivers. Kinda like putting a tire on a rim.
