USMC Water Can made out of Aluminium

I found some USMC Water Cans made out of Aluminium No dates made by CONCO, Yellow stenceling on the sides stating Water and some numbers, When did they start making these and when did they stop? Are they Rare? Peter

I think they are Viet Nam era

I have a number of them. They are from old Civil Defense supplies and the old timers around here tell me they have been here since the 50's.
