Hi guys! Found this on sale on the web here in Argentina. Any idea as to what it is? Original? Modified? Haven´t found it in the Jerrycan book...

The only thing that I see that's out of the ordinary is the cap made from some old pipe fitting.

This water can was made by Arvin NSI in 1942.
The original cap has been replaced by a screw system

Regarding the can in the photos, in fact you are right. It´s been modified and neatly welded with a different cap.
