Re: Jerry can QMC noblitt sparks
Hello Tuareg,
That is a great and fairly rare maker of a Jerry can !
I just discovered that I recently got 2 cans that were marked N.S.I., and hadn't ever heard of them either, but it turns out they are
also Noblitt Sparks Industries
.
I can see your Jerry can on the back of your restored jeep already !!
Here is some great info on that very successful company, that was only recently bought by another company.

Ciao Tuareg, bella tanica
durante il periodo bellico tante industrie hanno costruito le taniche questa è una delle tante e come ha detto 70th Divisione e poca conosciuta,
posso chiederti quanto ti è costata.

That is a great deal !!
We can't even find them like that in the USA, well done.
Looking forward to the pictures.
I really like Tuareg's jerry can, as it is so early, and those really aren't found too much here in the USA, in my experience.
I am sure they are out there, but most here that I find are late war, except for an early galvanized one I found, I think 1941, and paid more than Tuareg did for his.
I say, when you see a nice piece, get it !!
Best Regards,
Ray

Looks great, that will be a nice can to clean up !
An NSI marked jerry can, the same as I have recently found here.
Nice save

I am sure it saw a lot of history, like Tuareg's jerry can !!

Hi 70th,
I agree with you surely has a lot of history to tell as that of Tuareg.
Now slowly I try to clean it to see if some numbers appear in the smallest rib of the tank.
Best regards Joseph
