A recent find. Never seen one like this before so maybe I just don't get around much.

That is simply superb. WW2 dated with nice markings. How many of those are around for a Motor Pool display. It's the only one like it I have seen. Well done.

I didn't respond to this earlier, because I thought mine was a post-war can, but I dug this out of the shed and realized I was wrong.
Sorry I didn't take a picture of the spout removed.
The spout is separate from the threaded ring.
This allows indexing it for proper pouring, and would allow the spout to be be pointed down into the can for transport, allowing easy stacking of cans.
