PRC 6 paint color

Post by Squelch » Fri May 26, 2023 2:43 am

I'm looking for the correct color green to repaint the PRC 6. I've heard one can purchase it in a spray can.
Thanks
Mike

I can't help with the exact color code recommendation, but here are two sources for various "rattle can" OD colors for vintage military equipment:

https://www.kaiserwillys.com/products/categories/paint/

https://www.armyjeepparts.com/c-211-gci-paint.aspx

Will be interesting to see what specific color is recommended by some of the other more experienced guys here.

I would look at Midwest Military's semi-gloss OD 2430 or their Signal Corps Green if you determine the PRC 6 was painted in the Signal Corps standards color.
