FOUND ONE!! Large vibrator VB-16 for the PE-237 power supply, that powers the SCR-694 radio. Thanks for all the responses.

Shipping from Croatia would be a killer.

The solid state rectifier - replacement for the 1006 tube - looks interesting.

WTB: Does anyone have the large vibrator VB-16 for the PE-237 power supply, that powers the SCR-694 radio, to sale? Or know of any for sale.
It’s much better to carefully open the existing vibrator housing, extract the mechanical vibrator and replace it by a solid state circuit.
Then you recrimp the housing and that’s’it. Nobody would even know.
Like this circuit https://royalsignals.org.uk/vibs/
I guess it could be found in the US. i did mine myself with SMD stuff found in a junk box.

Many NOS vibrators will not even start vibrating.
What you can try with your existing vibrator is to hit several times the palm of your hand with the vibrator housing. It takes time :D .
Or knock it on a rubber block. It could restart.
It did with my R209, but I have decided for the safe solution: solid state conversion.

The VB16 vibrator is a huge vibrator and not sealed that can be opened and adjusted.I may have a spare VB16 but they are very rare and not cheap.
