Would you post what this mount is for so that we all learn from the conversation?

Hi Kurt

The FT 317 is used to hold the PE 120 power supply seperately from the BC 659 radio and power cable
CD-509 used to connect the two together.
It's used in my SCR 399 , HO-17 shelter. Im sure there are other installations that warrant its use when its not practical to have the PE 120 attached to the bottom of the BC 659 radio.

Was reminded that the FT-317 is also used to hold the BC-1000 ,usually withe PP-114 vibrator pwr supply, as the VRC-3 in some tank installations.

Why not publishing the dimension in that thread?

There was no mount for the BC 1000 in vehicles.The FT 317 has to be totally modified to use it with a BC 1000.

I know, that is the reason why I’m interested in the Ft-317 mod drawing.
Or perhaps someone has the drawings of the original parts used to adapt that mount to the AN/VRC-3 for the M4 tanks.

Yves,
I provided names and contact info to Fabrice of two individuals that I know either have an FT-317 or possibly drawings....I’m not posting that information on an open forum.

Hi Tom,
OK i thought that they did not want to share the dimensions.
Obviously I understand that their contact email is not published in a forum;
I can contact Fabrice directly.
Thanks
