My first post. Thanks for the add.
I recently picked up a BC-654. I am currently working on the receiver. I’m running it on a 60 volt power supply and a D cell. It receives 75m AM fine.
However, it has a couple of issues:
1. Typically a 3PDT switch is used to turn off the AVC and turn on the BFO when the receiver is separated from the transmitter. What pins on the 12 pin terminal do I connect to make that happen?
2. What is the BFO bias voltage?
3. My receiver only tunes 3.8 to 5 MHz.
4. Even after I peak the receiver, i can only copy signals for only 200 kHz.
Thanks for any assistance on this.
