This is a WW2 Navy Beach Landing Marker Flag for a Petroleum Drop Off (hence the funnel). Thin rayon(?) like cloth, double-sided in sewn construction. Yellow (color somewhat faded) funnel on black square, approx. 66" x 66", with grommets all around to secure to poles. Overall EXC with no serious wear/holes/stains. Has been hanging in my garage for over a decade and since I'm not buying a landing craft or DUKW anytime soon, it's time to move it on.
