A quick search on line located a likely match (same first and last name and middle initial) in a soldier assigned to the Army's 3rd Engineer Special Brigade (ESB), 533rd Engineer Boat and Shore Regiment (EBSR), Company A. Very good website on those units (ebsr.net). The unit fought in the Pacific. The Next of Kin and address details on these early tags can be VERY helpful in researching the soldier. One tag only (sorry). Interesting that "SEATTLE" was spelled incorrectly.
