FS: Post-WW2 Chrysler "Achievement" Books Series (7) $150

I don't know what else to call this neat series of hardbound handbooks that cover Chrysler's range of accomplishments in WW2 -- from small arms ammunition to atomic bomb work.

Image

This is probably most, if not all, of the series as far as I can tell. They started in 1945 and end in 1949. All are 5-1/4" x 8" format with many illustrations. The iconic edition is "Tanks are mighty Fine Things" followed by "Bullets by the Billions". The others are less well known.

* A War Job "Thought Impossible" (1945) -- 51 pages on the Navy's Gyro-Compass effort. Some spine wear but solid.

* Bullets By The Billion (1946) -- 77 pages detailing everything they wanted you to know about that "EC" headstamped ammunition from the Evansville-Chrysler plant. Has Chrysler welcome card in front. Overall VG+.

* Tanks Are Mighty Fine Things (1946) -- 145 pages on the tank program. Has welcome card in front. EXC.

* The Great Detective (1946) -- 99 pages on radar development. EXC

* Great Engines and Great Planes (1947) -- 133 pages on aircraft production and engines. Edge wear only. VG+.

* Secret (1947) -- 65 pages on support for the atomic weapon program. Has Chrysler note in front. EXC.

* Mobilized (1949) -- 216 pages on how the company mobilized to support the various efforts detailed in the earlier volumes. EXC.

Sold as a lot for $150, shipped (in the Lower 48). As they say, "one stop shopping"... Please PM direct if interested. Thanks for looking!
