Here's a very nice WW2 M2 Compass with correct WW2 M19 (D45048) Case for your consideration...

Standard artillery (etc.) compass. OD wrinkle paint is about 98%. Extremely nice example with a very nice case.

Good piece.
Back in 1994 I saw, inspected and bought two complete Engineer Field Survey kits at DRMO in Bartsow, Ca. they were WWII its with fresh components, never issued. (won for a little more than the above compass)
When I finally was able to pick them up a few hours after the auction started/ended, both had had their compasses swiped....Bet it was the one clown bidding against me too.
