Nice WWII Mermite can FS

Post by SteveG » Sat Jun 27, 2020 7:45 pm

I have a clean WWII Mermite can FS. I've owned this one for maybe 14 years. I can post pics tomorrow. I think it's a 1943 dated can. No rust, no dents. $325 plus shipping.

Can't see how to add pics to my first post, so here they are. There is a small ding on one edge of the bottom. There also is a new gasket for the lid included. The lid is marked ESCO 1944, not 1943, as I first thought.

Nice looking mermite. Can I ask for a model number on the gasket?

I used 1/4x1/4 rubber from McMaster Carr for mine. cut to length and glued to itself.
