Try Medals of America or USAMM. Cost around $40.00.

I just got a text from one of my Marines, he can not get to the PX today, but will tomorrow. I told him if the medal is under $15 go ahead and buy it, and I would pay him back for it. Hold off buying one till tomorrow.

Get a hold of your local Veterans representative from your county or state, a note to a congressperson helps too; put in a request for any or all lost medals. They will take a little time but they will not cost you anything. In most cases they will send you all of his medals he earned. A DD214 can help greatly when making the request. Good luck

I wrote the Department Of Navy with a copy of the PH certificate and the letter and they said because i wasn't the son they wouldn't send me the medal. The son could get it- not the grandson . They said they could look up his service records and send them but it would cost 70.00 to do that i haven't done anything yet

Your purple heart went down range on Wednesday. My dachshund Rommel is in the hospital just been occupied with him.
