I.D. Help needed….what is it?

Post by wc56daveyboy » Sat Sep 17, 2022 7:10 pm

Anyone know what this is?

To me is screams 1/2 track or other armor item.
But I was told it is not for a 1/2 track

Heavy guage metal boxes. Removable. Slide in much like an ammo tray on a gun mount. Locking spring clip.
Very heavily built!

It is for some Armored vehicle?
If armor, what model?

does anyone know?

Universal aircraft tool company isn't turning up on a search. Aircraft company maybe for planes. What does inside look like and what are dimensions?

Yea I tried multiple searches and nothing came up either for me.

Each box is 7” wide x 6” deep and 9” tall
There are no compartments inside the boxes to dictate say, a grenade box or rifle clip holder.

The entire length of the two boxes, as mounted in the holder, is just under 16”
Wide
