I have been looking many info about 1st armored division, but i did not find the info about numbers of jeeps on each unit.

6th Armored Infantry Regiment 2nd Battalion.
6th Armored Infantry Regiment 3rd Battalion.
27th Field Artillery Battalion (Armored).

701st tank destroyer Battalion Company C.
16th Engineer Battalion (Armored) supply Battalion.
16th Engineer Battalion Battalion Maintenance Battalion.

Are you familiar with this site? The US Army had TO&E's for nearly every type of organization.

I have a TO&E for a generic armored division in September 1943 for 13 categories of units but it doesn't represent the March 1942 TO&E which created "heavy" armored divisions. In September 1943, 14 of the 16 armored divisions (not 2nd and 3rd) converted to "light" divisions. Numbers of tanks went from 390 tanks down to 245, and personnel went from 14,620 down to 10,937. So the total number of jeeps in 1942 was probably much higher than the combined number of 449 I see on this TO&E.
