Help IDing this foot locker and/or shipping trunk

I came across this box and was hoping for someone can tell me a little about it. It is 31" wide, 17" deep and 13" tall

Looks like the aluminum chest I have in the garage. Japanese-made, occupation era. Sometimes they have a maker tag. I heard the early ones were made from scrapped Japanese planes. Very nice, practical chests.

My late father also left one in the garage, I don't know what he do with them though
