Anybody's flea market and yard sale finds
I have seen a few threads people make showcasing the items they find at various sales and figured I would make one for those of us who have great finds but less often and not frequent enough to want their own thread.

I'll start, I got this mountain backpack at an estate sale for $16 bucks. It was the only surplus piece there besides some bundles canvas I passed on.

Do you want some skis and poles to go with it?

Maybe... I too picked up a Mountain pack cheap at a flea market. Not as cheap as that one, maybe $25 but I was happy. Since then I found some of the ski wax at an antique shop for a couple bucks a tube, bought three different colors that day I think. But my best item I'll have to post pictures of would be the tent/shelter. Not the later hexagon one, but the pup tent looking one from WW2 complete with original stakes.

Well, I don't want to get too far into this....yet. But, my buddy has a fairly extensive collection and with his upcoming retirement he's anticipating selling off most of his mountain troop kit, including the pup tent(s?) you are describing.
He'll soon have the time to pull it all out and we'll see exactly what he will be parting with.
Cheers,
