U.S. Navy MK3 MOD1 Big Eyes Binoculars

Post by DWesol » Mon Jan 11, 2021 1:57 pm

Hello,
Anyone here familiar with these? Been doing some COVID cleaning, and re-discovered them. I tried using them for looking at stars, but they weigh about 40 lbs, and I don't have a mount or tripod. Any idea what they are worth? I've been looking on the web, and asking prices are all over the place.

I don't know the age. The data plate is gone. In place of the data plate is a white plastic tag that reads Binocular # 2

The only thing I know about them is they would look good in my collection.

Let me know a link, if you should decide to sell.
