What era saw might be?

Post by Steve Webb » Sun Jul 19, 2020 1:52 pm

I am cleaning up a bunch of saws. This one did not make sense for being used to cut metal or wood and suspected it was a butcher/bone saw. It is but having trouble with what era. Not military WW2 as they had wood handles but hack saw type blades and handle on frame.

A lot of you guys have good sniffers and see more stuff than I do way down here in Florida. I am guessing 1900 to 1930

14" blade 5/8" 10 tpi. 18" overall with frame 1/4 X 1/2 solid and 3 1/4 throat.
