US Replica Gun Co Vic Morrow Thompson

Post by hounddog7 » Sun Aug 04, 2019 5:46 pm

I'm thinking about buying a M1928A1 "Vic Morrow" Thompson from the United States Replica Gun Company, does anyone have one and have reviews on it?

I bought one I like it. The only thing is they had to modify the magazine so it would not work on a Thompson semi or full auto.

I always liked Vic Morrow in Combat! until I found out he was anti-gun.
Rick Jason was a gun guy.

Who needs an actor:
My Pop, surrounded by 6 Regiments of Chinese on 14 Feb 1951, Hell bent on killing every American they can at a little place called Chipyong-ni.
Middle of it as a fresh platoon leader he's snapping Color photos which have really helped tell the history of that period.
I'm here, obviously he survived with his platoon, going on to two tours of Vietnam as well and 32 years in the Infantry.

PS: Only reason he has a Thompson here, is his unit XO (23rd Infantry) had to return to Seoul for R&R and "borrowed" his M1 Carbine (lighter to carry around on leave) trading him the Thompson...upon the XO's return Pop asked for his carbine back and the XO refused to give it back...

I know this is an old post, but would you mind sharing some of the other color photos your father took.
This one is amazing, I can understand why you chose it to inscribe on the stone.
