So neat that someone is doing a Market Garden event! Such a shame I'm thousands of miles away, as I'd otherwise show up!

Update: Registration is still open for Allies and Dutch Civilians. The German forces and armor SOLD OUT in late April. They are itching for a fight. If you need a packet, can be sent ASAP. We have units attending from as far as St Louis.

Thanks- Pat

Anyone wanna lay bets on how many GI re-enactors ask to show up with 101st AB impressions, even though the 82nd AB took the bridge? There wouldn't be any correct allied impressions other than 82nd AB troopers, Brit armor and dismounts from 30 Corps, and Dutch resistance fighters...
There'll be some guys demanding to do their "Bandwagon of brothers" 506th shtick. You can count on it.

I happen to agree with you but is that any different than the Germans who (used to) show up to the Battle of the buldge reenactment at FIG doing an early war/ eastern front impression?

No, Matt, it is not that big a difference at all, if you know the specifics of German uniforms. I'd contend that a shoulder patch is a pretty obvious farbism, though, that German uniforms might be lacking to those who don't know German stuff as well.

Hello,
We had 250 reenactors for this year's event. There were more 82nd Airborne then 101. We had some Commonwealth too. The germans had 2 tanks , halftrack and armored car. The allies had jeeps and a British half track. For the public battle the Germans got to win. Was a shock to the public. The Germans have lost 10 years when we did Remagen. If I figure out how to do pics will get some here. We are back for 2020. I am looking for Allied tanks and armor, also anti tank guns with crews. The Germans always bring plenty of armor wanting to fight. Our 2 hours morning judged tactical is some of the best fighting in our area. I already have units asking for next year. I would enjoy to get 2 allied tanks say stuarts, would work best. A Sherman would be to big for street fighting and possible to heavy for the bridge.
