Tiger tank sent to the USA

Given the relative cost, I would imagine a quick trip to the Forbes most wealthy list in NY should narrow it down quite a bit. Surprisingly, I haven't heard a word about this thing from any other source. Seeing a moving Tiger 1 would undoubtedly spark quite a bit of chatter amongst people who study tanks.

No I don't think so. That is a replica built on a Soviet tank chassis. The one we were talking about was all original built from 5 or 6 other Tiger wrecks.

You're right! I should have read more closely... here is a list of Tigers, and their locations. The one in question is noted as in the USA, and presumably in a private collection. :(

You may want to check with the guys at the Museum of American Armor in Bethpage. They have a nice museum out there. They are familiar with some of the larger collectors on the island.

Actually pretty amazing that an ultra rare tiger one get shipped to America and all but disappears off the collectors radar
