No ammunition? 9mm Largo may not be manufactured these days but it seems like I always run into surplus ammunition at gun shows. Have I just been fortunate to find it?

38 Super will often chamber; do Not shoot that in a Destroyer. Try some 38 ACP. Or load your own; it's easy. Make brass from .223. Or use 38 Super. Lots of ways to shoot them.
Some of them will shoot 9mm if the extractor will hold them in place.

9mm Largo has an extremely deep extractor groove so most other brass won't work unless you cut the extractor groove deeper.Back in the day when there was lots of 9mm Largo and very little 9mm Steyr we used the Largo in the Steyr pistols but could not use the 9 mm Steyr in 9mm Largo chambered pistols because of the shallow extractor groove of the Steyr ammo.

It has 38 ACP on the one pic so maybe it was rechambered?

Experimenting with ammunition in a firearm not originally chambered and marked for it is crazy.
Recommending doing it is x2 crazy.
No two ways about it.

Unless maybe you're a finalist for the Darwin Award.
