Lots of crazy prices on the items I watched yesterday. Lots of rich collectors with nothing else to do with their money.

Re: New high on 2 Destructive Devices at the RIA auction
I picked up the m1 to m2 carbine with the IR scope for 9plus feesk. Not sure how it was registered, receiver, kit or even how it's marked. Should have it in a week, two or three depending on how fast RIA sends me the invoice etc.
I thought the PPSHs in the 30k range were freaking high and C&R M2 carbines in the upper 10s. There were some ridiculous items. Guess the m9a1 bazooka buyer is going to have to wait a few decades to get his money back if even considering you can't get ammo and generally bazookas have a limited market as its just a display piece. I bought a m9a1 a year ago at the same auction house for 3200 or so. It's their money so they can spend it how they want.

And I thought 6k for a 60mm with all the accessories was still high.
That bazooka sale is unreal. Good for the seller. I saw some other crazy high sales on MGs as well

Glad I already have my C&R 60mm M5. Might sell mine if I could get 8. Lol

The Colt and Winchester 1918 BARs went shockingly high 57k and 62k. Thankfully I’m not looking for one!
And that’s not including the 20% buyers premium! YIKES!

The $8600+ semi BAR confused me more. Considering you can buy them all day long for way less.

Re: New high on 2 Destructive Devices at the RIA auction
Just saw this forum post. Holy crap batman on the bazooka. Sure made my mind up about selling mine. Calling RIA in the morning. Mine's Cheney-Bigelow, fully repaired (both holes correctly filled) and fully registered as a destructive device. Gotta sell while the interest is high.
