For those in the know, or in the queue for one, I’d like to see what is up with the Philadelphia Ordnance Thompson BFONGs that Bob is producing. Has anyone been getting contacted for theirs in the wait list? I’ve been in line since October 2020 and, to be honest, every response I get has been a run around. I know Bob is on here and I’m not trying to stir up anything, but I’m just curious as to what others are seeing in the production of these. I’m a patient guy and I don’t mind waiting, but I’d kinda like to know how long others have been in line before getting one. Just trying to get some info before explaining other options.
And while on the subject, what’s the secondary market like for these? Not saying that’s what I’d do or soliciting but just curious what others have seen as far as resale?

Can't speak on the current runs but I bought mine second hand lightly used with a ton of accessories for about the current market price. Caveat, I also bought a PPSH41 BFONG from this guy and he's a fellow reenactor who used to be part of my Russian unit. Used ones never seem to last long for sale, either way.

They are in high demand. And hold their value well. The market is now inflating the price because, as far as I can tell, orders are not getting filled. I’m just curious as to what’s going on as I can’t seem to get a straight answer.Rakkal wrote:Can't speak on the current runs but I bought mine second hand lightly used with a ton of accessories for about the current market price. I’ve been on it since October 2020. I know others that have been on it longer. When production first started 5-6 months was the case. Doesn’t seem that way nowGaryD. wrote:Got on the list June or July do not remember.By email and on the phone. Was told 5 or 6 months.I guess that is not going to happen.
