SARCO has the receiver top covers. Right side plate? What is that?

SARCO only has 30-06 covers.There were 3 sizes 30-06 7mm and 8mm.

Ok, going to be a hard part to get. I still don't understand what a side plate is on an FN49. I have had all calibers, and still have an 8mm.

Parts are out there it is just a matter of finding who has them.Thousands were imported in the 60's.I wish I has scarfed up the parts in the 60's when I worked for an importer.I never thought they would be worth anything.Like all the G98/40's he imported and we sold them for next to nothing because no one wanted them as you can't mount a standard commercial scope on one.
