This is a practice "spotting" grenade shaped to simulate the M26/M61 HE grenade. The body disassembles so that a new dye packet can be inserted after each use. I have simulated the dye packet with a piece of red cellophane Christmas wrap which is a near perfect match when installed. Retains 90% of the original blue and red factory paint. Original M201A1 MOD fuze assembly is equally nice (and inert). Very scarce grenade.
