Due to age and health, having to get out of military displays and events. Selling my Aeronica US issued M20A1 Super Bazooka. Is demilled with the 3.5” hole (fiber glassed over for display), blocking rod and a slit in the coupling where the two halves join together. Photos show it all. Also, too complete the display, there are 3 Practice Rockets painted to resemble the M28A2 Heat Rockets which are contained in an original 1952 wooden crate.

Details: some of the data text and possibly the year are under the cocking mechanism clamp which I chose not to remove. Again, refer to photos. The sight lens cover is dated 1952 which should be in line with the bazooka manufacturing date. The rockets were dated 1952, 1953, and 1958. The bazooka has an original sling and is only missing the round ball that fastens to the end of the cocking lever which I have not been able to find.
This would not be practical to ship, so pick up is preferred. Located in North Carolina. Asking price $1200 - offers considered. Thanks for looking.

Do you have any pictures of the crate without the rockets in there. I have one made in 1956 the year I has born but the holders/partitions are not installed. Thanks

Congrats on having one with your birth year. Mine is dated Sept. 1952. I was fortunate enough to find a WWII footlocker dated 1943 which is my birth year. I do not know if the interior of my crate is original but that is how it was when I got it except for the felt glued in the cradles to keep from scratching the rockets when traveling.

Thanks for this picture. I will look and see if there is any sign of wood/nailholes inside my crate. Mine was outside a customers house. I saw it was a rocket crate and when I saw the date I knocked some off the bill for it.

Rockets of this caliber are packed in individual, hermetically sealed, metal containers which, in turn, are packed into the wooden boxes. There were never wood inserts in the crates, For display the sky is the limit.
