Guys,

I am looking for a steel ring scale and nut assembly that screws onto the elevation and traverse knobs. My tripod came with one in steel and one in brass, and I'd like to get another one of these in steel. This is the scale ring with the tick marks engraved and the 4 studs on the ring.

If anyone has one that they're willing to part with, please let me know.

Thanks,
Duane

Anybody have a small section for this socket. Thought about using JB weld but would rather JB weld in a small chunk.

The 1917A1 was one my Dad picked up from Hayes. He didn't realize the significance of a socket with a small cut. Wish be bought a couple more.

Also need pieces for a Model 1917ImageImageImageImage

Maybe Weld together the top ring. And then fill in the gaps with jb weld?

Willing to trade my gas bottle knob for your gas bottle knob or will purchase the one I need.

Need the smooth inside brass gas bottle knob that looks like the steel one in the picture.

ThanksImage

Hi!

We're looking for any part, even torch cut or relic condition parts for a 1917a1 tripod socket.
Thanks for letting know if you had something for us.

It would appear that you made a mis-match socket work here, based on the large bands of odd colored material.

How?

The legs are potentially easy to repair but if you’re reasonably priced, I might be interested.
