I have a neat portable gasoline powered "Flame Thrower charging compressor" with original data plate. Does not run, missing some parts, but looks cool!
Wondering if anyone has information on these. Tried Steel Soldiers with no luck. New to this board, haven't figured out how to post pics. Thanks BP

Re: flame thrower charging compressor
What parts are missing?
Best thing to do to start is get a TM or technical manual for it.
They normally will have a parts breakdown in them.
What is the # on the data tag?
Are you going to be selling the thing eventually?

Re: flame thrower charging compressor
Data plate says "Compressor, reciprocating power driven gasoline engine, 3 1/2 CFM, E32, Chemical Corps, US Army WK part no 890070 dated 10/58
Use: Pressurizing portable flame thrower" its missing quite few parts, but looks good enough for a display. Traveling this week, can try to post pics next week BP

Great for display, would not use one even if working, best to use pressurized CO2, nitrogen or other inert gas over the fuel in the tank.
