We have had this in the collection for over 15 years, and have been considering replicating the original cannon with steel tubes and the trunion for mounting, but we are gearing up for another restoration, and decided to put this up on the chopping block.

While we had not planned on selling this, we had a recommended asking price of $4,200, but since not many of these are around to compare, let us know what you have in mind. Partial trades are an option as well as realistic offers.

Here are a few more views of it. The breech threads are clear, and Demil was accomplished by welding the drive gears on the electric motor, although the barrel carriage rotates smoothly and freely with good bearings.

Interesting. What exactly does "Agreed, thank you sir- it is yours" mean to you? I was under the impression that it meant we agreed on a price, we told each other we had a deal, and that I would pay for it and you would ship it to me. Apparently, it means something completely different to you.

Armament I guess your reply is about the same as I got:

but the brevity and clarity in your reply takes the sale-
I will pass along my transfer information in the morning.
For the sake of shipping, I will also take this out to my shop tomorrow and should get a weight on it by 11 AM, Hillsboro Oregon time.

Thank you again;
Patrick

LOL, apparently offering full price plus shipping did not win this auction.....the one we didn't apparently know about?

Amazing. People conducting themselves like this on G503 should have their accounts suspended.

I very sorry this unethical and dishonest deal was done here on the G. This crook of a seller has been removed from g503 permanently!

I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole based on his description of how it was "demilled" sounds a lot more like a dewat with an intact receiver. Welding the drive gears in no way makes it a demil. Smells of a trap.
