WTS Arisaka bayonet

Post by D_Conrad » Wed Nov 06, 2019 11:23 pm

I am selling a training bayonet for a Japanese Type 99 Arisaka rifle. Bayonet has no visible markings as the training bayonets usually do not. Includes original sheath. Wood handles in good shape. No leather on the sheath. Photos will be posted tomorrow. Asking 70 OBO.

Just for curiosity's sake. What makes it a training bayonet?

They are a little lighter construction and are not so well finished.

They also have a blunt blade. Thinner on the top and never sharpened. I will post a photo of it next to my Tokyo arsenal bayonet to show the difference.
