WTB 1911 barrel

Post by Old Dodge Guy » Thu Oct 11, 2018 8:16 pm

Anyone have a new barrel for a 1911? Mine is about done and I would like to get a new one. This is for a Colt 1911.
Thanks, ODG

I recommend KKM barrels. Spendy but well worth it. Remember any good 1911 barrel needs to be fit to the gun.

Looking for new, but really good used would be something I would consider. Something I can go to the range with and hit the target. Right now throwing all over the place. You can read that as about 50% barrel, 50% me shaking, and about 50% my eyes. Yeah.......the math really adds up. Probably more me than the pistol, but the barrel IS kinda worn out. By serial number either 100 years old or just a bit more.
Call this a try to find out how much is me and how much is the pistol.
Thank you.

Have a couple of older barrels, not in the best shape but not asking for much either

I guess if I am going to spend money, I will want new or really, really good used, as in near new or same as new. I will pass on well used barrels, thank you. That I already have. :)
