LUNETTE

Post by orione6a » Mon Jun 21, 2021 12:45 pm

I bought a lunette some time ago thinking it was the one I needed for my M100 trailer. Well, it's not...............its too big!! Could it be for a 1/2 ton trailer?? Let me know if you need dimensions.
I got it for a good price, so selling for the same.

$100 plus shipping.

Can you give some dimensions? Any chance of determining the thread pitch?

I will precaution everybody with the warning that I am somewhat speculating. But I believe that is a post-WWII lunette, probably for the M101 series of trailers. It also should fit the Ben Hur casting. No matter what, the taper will need to be measured from thickest to thinnest, making sure to include the distance between measurements. If it fits the Ben Hur casting, the nut is a good thing to have as they are sometimes missing or damaged.

I could sure use a lunette for a 1942 Ben Hur trailer. Thanks, David dbcolts@aol.com, 714 310 9934.
