Ben Hur Trailer For Sale -- Restored

Post by Walter » Wed Feb 26, 2020 11:53 am

I am selling a newly restored Ben Hur Trailer. The chassis and bed were sandblasted, primed and painted. The civilian lights were replaced with period correct lights and wiring harness. It has new tires and original hardware for the wooden racks. This hardware was also blasted, primed and painted. The wood and canvas top were replaced. $3,500.00

Regards,

Walter

That's a great price! For a restored Trailer with the complete Racks AND the Canvas! Beachwood Canvas is almost that much for the canvas alone!!

Excellent job, these are not as simple to restore as they appear and look awful nice behind a 3/4 Ton WC, Chevy 4X4 , CCKW, and Light Tank.

Good evening Joe:

Many thanks for the kind words. You are correct, especially with the wood pieces there is a bit mo0re there than you might think at first glance.

Walter

Good Afternoon Everyone:

For those G followers that live in the Midwest or Northeast, I am going to have the trailer at the Findlay Ohio show. I expect to have it there sometime late >Thursday afternoon or early evening and have it ready to display for Friday and Saturday. If you are interested in it and want to see it come to the Findlay show the 13-15th of May.

Many thanks for looking.

Regards,

Walter
