Hello All.

I recently found this Converto and wanted to share it with you. It has lots of original parts and is in very good shape...except for a few of bubba's add-ons over the years.

Thanks Oz! I was very lucky to find it. I have an original lunette on another rough converto and plan to use it on this one.

SOunds like its going to be a worthwhile project. I can't wait to dig into mine. I have nearly everything and finished a wiring harness while I wait to move to TN. If you run across an extra landing leg assembly and will have everything.

Very nice Converto dumper. Although not original I see the advantage of the added fenders, especially if towed behind a vehicle in traffic. I think MBT type round fenders would look better.

The first things to go are the fenders and round stake additions on the sides of the bed. Bubba wouldn't be happy! haha

In the event you are able to remove the fenders intact you may want to offer them here on the great g503.com Someone May have a want or need for them.

Great looking converto, could you take close of the top of the Tailgate socket view and the other side of the landing leg, the pin that holds the landing leg up or down. Thanks

Hello guys.

No progress on the restoration because my time and $$$ has been spent on restoring my slat grill. I packed it away in the barn for the winter. However I did find an original lunette and combat rims for it.

It is in very nice shape and should be an "easy" restoration as for as some of my other trailers and jeeps have gone. haha

I'll take the pictures and send to you, but it won't be until next week since I'm going out of town this weekend.

Side note, I did find another unrestored one in nice shape as well and working with the owner to purchase it.

I feel like I'm a converto magnet!
