Approx Age of my Converto

Could some one render a best guess to the year / month of my converto, it was in extremely bad shape when I bought it (missing data plate). It has Tail Light brackets, the heavier lunette trailer eye, ? I am unaware of any frame stamped serial number? Thank-you

1945 from your description. There is no date besides the year on them. Also the serial number USA number is only on the data plate unless someone stamped it somewhere else

Hi David,
Are there any markings on the lunette? Late Convertos were to be used with the thick lunette. The September 13 1944 contract I believe is the start of taillights etc.
