M10 trailer help ( spring/latch)

Post by Trowa » Fri Jul 06, 2018 1:10 pm

Hello everyone,

Since few weeks I am a proud M10 trailer owner.
There is however 1 thing that i need to repair ,but cannot find info anywhere!

Can anyone show me what the spring/latch looks like on the front of the trailer that controls youre pintle?
So the spring that holds the little lever down.

Thank you very much!
Greetings Kristof

Here a couple of existing threads with good pictures. I don't know which spring you are talking about, but maybe you can see it in these pictures??

Hi retro-coco,
Yes I saw those pictures allready. Unfortunatly on these pictures the latch is also broken/missing.

I cant link his picture, but in the first topic. The second to last picture.
The handle that you lift in order for the pintle to turn is secured by a latch.
But i want to make it again but no one has pictures of it.

Ok, sorry. I thought that two links I posted and all of those pictures might show the part you need. Perhaps someone with a trailer can help you.

Kristof,
In lieu of actual pictures, I sent you an electronic copy of "TM 9-333, Ammunition Trailer M10", which includes a copy of "ORD 9 SNL C-59, List of All Parts of Trailer, Ammunition, M10".

A lot of detailed photos, cutaways and descriptions in there that should help.
